DISTRICT NURSES 01277 3240529

There is a district nursing team attached with the surgery. They are employed locally by NHS South West Essex. They are led by a team of Modern Matrons who evaluate nursing needs and discuss with a patient how to best manage their care.  It is sometimes necessary to share information about a patient who is registered with the practice with members of the District Nursing Team.  Please advise the reception team if you do not want us to share your medical record in this regard.

MIDWIFE

A small team of community midwives offer appointments at Brentwood Community Hospital for routine ante-natal care.  Your doctor will refer you after your pregnancy has been confirmed.

COUNSELLORS  Therapy for You - 01268 739128

There are high intensity and low intensity therapists and counsellors attached to the practice.  You may ask your doctor to refer you or alternatively you can self refer by contacting the Therapy for You Team on 01268 739128.  Therapy for You will ensure that people living in South West Essex are able to access the right sort of psychological therapy to suit their mental health needs.
